Winter Networking Event at The Royal Hospital Chelsea
This week saw us host our Winter Members’ Networking Event at the Royal Hospital Chelsea. The Royal Hospital is a Grade I and II listed site, a beautiful architectural legacy of Charles II and Sir Christopher Wren. It is also home to the Chelsea Pensioners - the iconic faces of the UK’s veteran community.
We were delighted to host our Winter Event in this beautiful surround. Create provided the delicious and beautifully displayed garden-themed canapes and a rather well-stocked bar that adequately lubricated our guests’ joints ready for some dancing later!
Velvet Living supplied a mirrored bar and bar furniture for the hall – fitting furniture for such a majestic surround.
As we loosely term our last event of the year, our ‘Christmas’ one, we decided to forgo the usual guest speaker and opt for some entertainment instead – and entertained we were! 21st Century Foxes played a set towards the end of the night that filled the room with energy and fun. It proved to be just the tonic for our end of year celebration with our members and guests.
Siobhan briefly spoke on behalf of NAWP and updated everyone on the news of our re-brand, website change, and inaugural newsletter, as well as other exciting NAWP news for 2018.
The evening’s networking, conversation, and fun was all beautifully captured by Douglas Fry.
